Hannah Baker was hired in June 2023 as a State Specialized Agent for Beef and Forage Economics at the University of Florida/IFAS Extension Range Cattle Research and Education Center. She graduated from Abraham Baldwin Agricultural College with a dual bachelor’s degree in Agribusiness and Agriculture with a focus in Livestock Production. She went on to complete her master’s degree in Agricultural Economics from Oklahoma State University where her research focus was building an economic analysis around rangeland management practices.

Originally from Hahira, GA, she is thankful to be back in the Southeast working with county agents, researchers, and producers who love the cattle industry as much as she does. You can learn more about the work Hannah is doing at Hannah’s website.
